Applications are now open for the Science, Special, Service, and Encouragement Awards presented annually by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK).

🏆 Award Categories and Purposes:

• Science Award: Granted to scientists who contribute to science at an international level through work conducted in Türkiye.

• Special Award: Presented to Turkish citizens working abroad who contribute to science.

• Service Award: Granted to individuals who provide outstanding service to science and technology (deceased individuals may also be nominated).

• Encouragement Award: Given to scientists under the age of 40 who have the potential to make international-level contributions in the future.

📌 Application Process and Details:

• Science, Special, and Service Awards can only be applied for through nomination.
• Encouragement Award applications are accepted via both nomination and individual application.
• Applications are submitted via the https://oduller.tubitak.gov.tr TÜBİTAK Awards Application System.
• All applicants or nominating institutions must have an up-to-date record in the ARBİS system.
• For each child birth, the age limit is extended by one year for female applicants.
• Applicants may only apply to one award category within the same year.

🎓 Awards and Supports Provided:

• Science and Special Awards: Plaque, certificate, 10 full gold coins, and up to 2,400,000 TL research support
• Encouragement Award: Plaque, certificate, 5 full gold coins, and up to 2,400,000 TL research support
• Service Award: Plaque and certificate
