Organ donation is one of the most meaningful acts that can save a human life. Every individual over the age of 18 and of sound mind can donate their organs so that, after their death, they may give life to others.
According to Law No. 2238, organ donation can be made by preparing an official will, obtaining an organ donation card, or through the e-Nabız and e-Government (e-Devlet) applications. Citizens have the right to withdraw their consent at any time.
Organ donation procedures are carried out in units authorized by the Ministry of Health, such as Provincial and District Health Directorates, hospitals, Family Health Centers (FHC), and Community Health Centers (CHC).
By donating organs such as the heart, liver, kidney, lung, and cornea, patients waiting for organ transplants can be given a new chance at life.
We invite all our students and staff to be sensitive about organ donation, to inform those around them, and to support this meaningful campaign.
🫀 Organ donation saves lives.
