It is aimed to train the Oral and Dental Health Technician as professional individuals who assist the dentist in diagnosis, treatment or the order and functioning of clinics in all situations and stages.

STUDENT ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS
As a result of the examination held by the Higher Education Council, Assessment, Selection and Placement Center, students who have obtained sufficient points in the TYT score type are accepted. Students are also admitted to the program through lateral transfer.

ASSESMENT AND EVALUATION
Each student must enroll in classes at the beginning of the term and attend theoretical and applied courses in order to enter the final exam. Students are subjected to at least 1 midterm and final exam for each course. Students who get AA, BA, BB, CB, CC, DC and DD letter grades from a course are considered successful in that course.
For students who have graduated from three courses or one course left, a single course or three course exam is given.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Academic GPA must be 2 or above and they graduate if they complete 120 ECTS credits.
BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The education period of this program in the Department of Dental Services is 2 years and it is required to complete 120 credits in total to get 30 ECTS credits per semester. It is compulsory to do an internship for 30 working days at the end of the first year.

In addition, practical training is given in the dental clinics of hospitals within the scope of Professional Practice and Summer Internship courses. Students who pass the Student Selection Exam can enroll in the Oral and Dental Health Technician program. For this, they need to get enough points from the TYT score type.
QUALITIES SEEKED IN STUDENTS
Physical Characteristics: Although there is no legal restriction, this profession requires hand and eye skills, and the absence of a disability in these limbs is a factor in the high success of the person after graduation. It should also be taken into account that there is no orthopedic disability related to this, as there may be work in the form of night and / or day shifts, and the working rooms are constantly standing.
Ability: To be prone to jobs that require dexterity and speed.
Interest: To be interested in sterilization and technical devices, computers and other automation systems.
Internship Practices During Education at the College and Its Duration:
Internship training periods: Summer internship is 30 working days in Term II, within the scope of professional practice course is done 3 working days a week in Term IV.
TITLES AND WORKING AREAS OF GRADUATES
Those who successfully complete this program are given an associate degree diploma and gain the title of "Oral and Dental Health Technician". Graduates do not have the opportunity to work individually and can work in Oral and Dental Health Centers, Private Practices, Dentistry Faculties and Private Dental Hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health.
PROGRESS IN PROFESSION
Those who successfully complete the Oral and Dental Health associate degree program, if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam held by OSYM, they can make vertical transfer to undergraduate programs such as "Health Administration, Health Institutions Management, Health Institutions Management, Health Management".
