GRADUATION CONDITIONS

They graduate if they have an academic grade point average of 2 and above and complete 120 ECTS credits.

BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROGRAM: First aid refers to the rapid and effective interventions made with the available facilities at the scene in order to protect the life of the person in case of a sudden illness or injury, to prevent the deterioration of the health condition and to support his recovery. is a professional who is defined as the key to the chain of life and forms an important part of pre-hospital emergency care, is generally equipped with the knowledge to intervene in the critical situation for the patient or the injured at the first time, knows what to do in the face of all kinds of events, and acts according to ethical rules who can make fast and accurate decisions.

PURPOSE: The aim of this program is to train qualified manpower to work in emergency health service units of other institutions and organizations, especially health institutions.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUESTED IN STUDENTS PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Students to be admitted to this program must obtain a report from a full-fledged official hospital proving that they have a physical and mental health that does not prevent them from obtaining a driver's license, and they must have completed the age of 17 on the date of enrollment as it is compulsory to drive in the second grade. While working in a two-person team in rescue and transportation works, it is expected that they have the physical and physical competence to carry a patient on the stretcher with his teammate. Students enrolled in this program must wear the uniform required by the profession in practical lessons.

APPLICABLE STUDIES MADE DURING EDUCATION IN HIGH SCHOOL AND DURATION: 30 working days as summer internship in Term II, 3 working days a week as professional practice course in Term IV.

TITLE AND FIELDS OF WORK OF THE PROGRAM COMPONENTS: The graduates of this program are given the title of Health Technician (Paramedic). Graduates can work in emergency aid units of public and private institutions, emergency health service central administration units, emergency aid stations, emergency aid, patient transport and specially equipped ambulance services, and emergency control and command centers.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Provided that they pass the KPSS exam and be appointed, they can work in Public Institutions and Organizations in this sector as well as in Private Health Institutions and Organizations as Health Technicians.

THE FUTURE OF THE PROFESSION: With the developing technology, our students, who have the theoretical and practical education of our school, will take their place as qualified personnel in the future of their profession. After our students are successful in our School, they take the Vertical Transfer Exam opened by the Student Selection and Placement Center and if they are successful, they are entitled to undergraduate education.
