The Academic Board Meeting of our Vocational School, during which preparations for the 2025-2026 Spring Semester were evaluated, was held on 16 February 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with the participation of academic staff.

During the meeting, our Director, Prof. Dr. H. Gökçen Elbir, informed the academic staff about the goals for the new semester, strategic planning, and priority areas of work. Issues such as conducting academic processes more effectively and efficiently, strengthening student support and guidance mechanisms, and improving the quality of education were discussed in detail.

In addition, topics including course schedules to be implemented in the spring semester, the examination calendar, academic advising services, planning of scientific activities, and quality assurance processes were thoroughly evaluated. In line with the opinions and suggestions of the academic staff, various decisions were taken to enhance educational activities.

In addition to the academic staff, the Vocational School Quality Student Representative and program student representatives also attended the meeting, contributing to the reflection of the student perspective in the decision-making processes.

The meeting, which progressed interactively with the active participation of the academic staff and student representatives, concluded with the adoption of significant steps toward planning a more effective, qualified, and productive new semester.
