Between the Lines Gazililer Community
Our aim is to uncover the words hidden between the lines and enrich our vocabulary. We organize activities such as word games and puzzle events to enhance self-expression, reading comprehension, and communication skills. We coordinate book exchanges among students to encourage reading more books and promote lifelong learning awareness. We create technology-free time periods and organize book-reading activities in nursing homes to keep elderly individuals socially engaged. By holding weekly reading hours, we bring together individuals who enjoy reading, strengthen communication, and encourage social interaction. We aim to promote a reading habit especially among university students. We also watch movie adaptations of books and discuss them, introduce new authors and genres, and carry out social responsibility projects to instill a love of reading across different age groups and communities.
Life Line Paramedic Community
The Life Line Paramedic Community aims to support the professional, social, and academic development of students studying in the field of emergency health services; to produce projects contributing to public health; and to raise awareness about life-saving practices in emergency situations. We collaborate with health volunteers and conduct activities to increase awareness in the healthcare field.
Aging Hands Community
Our mission is to address aging not only as a biological process but also in its psychological, social, and cultural dimensions; to increase awareness toward elderly individuals in society; to strengthen intergenerational communication; and to help eliminate prejudices about aging. We aim to follow academic developments in this field and encourage knowledge sharing. By developing projects to enhance the quality of life of elderly individuals, we seek to support their active participation in social life. Through academic events, social responsibility projects, field studies, and collaborations, we aim to contribute to establishing an elderly-friendly perspective both within our university and in society at large.
Health Services Community
Our aim is to create a professional environment related to our future healthcare professions at Gölbaşı Campus of the Vocational School of Health Services. We seek to establish a platform for knowledge exchange among students and promote cooperation between programs to enhance students’ professional and cultural development. Through educational seminars, conferences, symposiums, exhibitions, and competitions, we aim to increase motivation and contribute to professional skill development. We also strive to raise awareness about public health issues and increase participation in social responsibility projects.
