Information on Three-Course and Single-Course Examinations for Graduation

Within the scope of our University’s ‘common’ course practices for graduation, you can access the schedule for the three-course examination and single-course examination from the link.

Our School’s Three-Course Examination Program for Graduation will be shared in the coming days.

The three-course and single-course examinations for graduation and the procedures related to these examinations will be carried out on the dates specified below.

Applications for the Three-Course and Single-Course Examinations will not be made via a form; they will be submitted online through the Application Management System (BYS).

Legislation

Regulation on Associate and Undergraduate Education, Training and Examinations, Article 15, paragraph 11 states: “Three-course examinations for graduation are held for students enrolled in programs implementing a semester-based education plan who have taken all courses included in the curriculum of the diploma program in which they are enrolled, have fulfilled the course attendance requirement at least once, have met the other requirements necessary to obtain an associate or undergraduate degree, and are in a position to graduate if they successfully complete the courses they have taken in the semester in which they registered, with at most three courses remaining, as well as for students enrolled in programs implementing an annual education plan, for the years specified in the education, training and examination procedures and principles for their annual courses. Three-course examinations are applied to courses for which final examinations are held at the end of the semester. In three-course examinations for graduation, students must receive at least a (CC) letter grade in each course for which they take the examination in order to pass. Midterm examination grade(s) are not taken into consideration in determining this letter grade.”

In accordance with the relevant article, this right will be granted to associate and undergraduate students who have taken all courses in their curriculum, have fulfilled the course attendance requirement at least once, have met the other requirements required by their diploma program, and have at most 3 courses remaining for graduation.

Regulation on Associate and Undergraduate Education, Training and Examinations, Article 15, paragraph 12 states: “Students who have taken and successfully completed all courses included in the curriculum of the diploma program in which they are enrolled, have fulfilled the course attendance requirement at least once, have met the other requirements necessary to obtain an associate or undergraduate degree, but have only one course remaining, may take the single-course examination. In order to pass the single-course examination, students must receive at least a (CC) letter grade. The midterm examination grade is not taken into consideration in determining this letter grade.”

In accordance with the relevant article, associate and undergraduate students who have taken all courses in their curriculum, have fulfilled the course attendance requirement at least once, and have met the other requirements required by their diploma program, and who have at most 1 (one) course remaining for graduation, will be eligible to take the Single-Course Examinations.
