Science & Future Night: Science and Future Night

We are bringing our work in science, research, innovation, and technology together with society.

As part of the “Science & Future Night: Engaging Researchers and Citizens in Climate, Health and Digital Transitions in Türkiye (BBGNight-TR)” project, carried out within the scope of the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) & Citizens Programme, coordinated by Yıldız Technical University, with Gazi University among the project partners and led by Assoc. Prof. Tayfun FINDIK, faculty member of the Faculty of Technology, a science and technology event will be held at our University.

Purpose of the Event

The event aims to bring together researchers, students, and different segments of society around scientific research and innovation activities, strengthen interaction between science and society, and increase the visibility of research and innovation activities.

Event Activities
  • Research, project, and innovation booths,
  • Student societies and student project booths,
  • Presentations of TÜBİTAK, Horizon Europe, and other national/international projects,
  • Exhibitions of TEKNOFEST and student technology projects,
  • Prototype and technological product demonstrations,
  • Science talks with academics and Science Café events,
  • Laboratory and workshop visits,
  • Visit to the TÜBİTAK National Technology Workshop,
  • Hands-on science and technology activities,
  • Science Passport activities and closing events
Participation of Academics and Students

Our academics and students are expected to actively participate in the event in order to bring the scientific research conducted at our University, national and international projects, student studies, technological developments, and innovative practices together with a broad audience.

Academics and students who wish to take part in the event may:
  • Present their projects and research,
  • Exhibit their prototypes or technological products,
  • Set up booths,
  • Conduct scientific or hands-on activities,
  • Participate in the event with student societies or teams

These participation opportunities are available.

Participation Request

Participation requests from academics, researchers, students, and student teams who wish to set up a booth, exhibit a project or prototype, or conduct an appropriate scientific/hands-on activity as part of the event will be collected and forwarded to the relevant unit.

Academics and students who wish to take part in the event are kindly requested to submit their participation requests to the relevant unit of our School.
