1- ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION (E-REGISTRATION) VIA E-GOVERNMENT
Candidates newly placed at our University may complete their electronic registration (E-Registration) through the https://turkiye.gov.tr website using their e-Government passwords.
(Candidates who do not have an e-Government password may obtain one by applying in person to PTT branches with a photo ID containing their Turkish Republic Identification Number.)
Electronic registrations via e-Government will be carried out between 2-4 October 2026 (until 23:59) through the https://turkiye.gov.tr website. After authenticating with an e-Government password, candidates can complete their registration by selecting the “University E-Registration” option under the “Council of Higher Education Presidency” section in the “e-Services” menu.

Students who complete their electronic registration via e-Government will receive an SMS from our University to the mobile phone number registered in the ÖSYM system confirming that their registration has been completed. (The SMS may be delayed.)
Students can also check whether their e-Government registration has been completed through the Gazi University Student Information System.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Newly registering students are strongly advised to complete their electronic registration (E-Registration) through the https://turkiye.gov.tr website, as this will save time and reduce both financial and logistical burdens.
There is no need to come to the University in person or submit any documents.
2- REGISTRATION AT THE UNIVERSITY
For compulsory reasons (
) candidates whose electronic registration cannot be completed
shall complete their final registration between 2-9 October 2026 by preparing the required documents listed below and applying in person or through a person authorized by a notarized power of attorney. Registration will be carried out at the Student Affairs Office of the School of Health Services.
3- DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR STUDENTS WHO CANNOT COMPLETE E-REGISTRATION
1- The original or an officially certified copy of the diploma issued by the secondary education institution from which the candidate graduated, or a recently issued graduation certificate. (An Achievement Certificate cannot be accepted in place of a Diploma or Graduation Certificate. After verification, the original diploma, a photocopy of which will be kept in the student's file, will be returned to the student.)
2- If the candidate was placed through an additional score or without an examination, but the candidate's field of study is not specified on the diploma or graduation certificate, an official document indicating the school and field from which the candidate graduated must be submitted. (For graduates of METEM programs, the name of the center that issued the diploma is stated as the school name on the diploma.)
3- Three photographs measuring 4.5 cm x 6 cm.
4- CONTRIBUTION FEES AND TUITION FEES
Students enrolled in regular (first-shift/daytime) programs may complete their registration without paying a contribution fee (tuition fee).
5- IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES WHO WILL COMPLETE THEIR FINAL REGISTRATION AT OUR UNIVERSITY
* The military service status of male candidates will be checked through the Ministry of National Defense (MSB). If necessary, a military service document may be requested during registration. Therefore, candidates are advised to check their military service status through https://turkiye.gov.tr or by applying to their military service branch before registration to determine whether there is any obstacle to completing their registration.
* In accordance with the decision of the General Assembly of Higher Education, a student cannot simultaneously attend two regular associate degree programs or two regular undergraduate programs (excluding open education and distance education programs). Candidates who fall within the scope of this provision cannot register for the newly placed higher education program unless they terminate their registration at the higher education institution in which they are currently enrolled.
* Applications submitted with missing documents during registration at the University will not be accepted, and registration will not be completed.
* No registration will be accepted outside the announced registration dates. The places of candidates who fail to register will be reported to ÖSYM as vacant quotas.
* The military service status of candidates liable for military service who have been placed in a higher education program through the YKS can be viewed by universities at http://kamu.turkiye.gov.tr. Candidates should contact their military service branches regarding military service issues and the university rectorates or the Higher Education Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) for detailed information regarding student loans.
6- ACCESS TO THE GAZI UNIVERSITY STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM
After completing your registration by choosing either the E-REGISTRATION or REGISTRATION AT THE UNIVERSITY option, access our University's Student Information System and select either “Login with e-Government” or “Password Reset” on the screen that appears. You can then access the System through https://obs.gazi.edu.tr/, complete the relevant fields, and change your password. For your own security, do not share your password with anyone.
If you completed your registration through e-Government, your student number will be sent to you via SMS. If you completed your registration at the University, you can obtain your student number from the registration officer.
7- COURSE REGISTRATION FOR THE FALL SEMESTER OF THE 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR
Course registrations and interactive advisor approvals for students who have been placed in our University's programs through additional placement based on the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) results will be carried out on 15-16 October 2026.
8- STUDENT ID CARDS
Students who have completed the procedures mentioned above will be able to obtain their digital student ID cards on the dates and at the location announced on our website, starting from a date to be announced later, by presenting one of their photo-bearing identification documents containing their Turkish Republic Identification Number (Turkish Republic Identity Card, passport, or driver's license).
These cards can be used both for student-related purposes and banking transactions.
9- ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXEMPTION EXAMINATION
Students newly registered in programs at our University where the language of instruction is Turkish may, if they wish, take the “English Placement Examination” to be held on 14 October 2026 at 14:00. Students who receive a passing grade in this examination will be considered exempt from the compulsory foreign language courses they are required to take during their studies. The grades obtained in this examination will be included in their semester and overall academic grade point averages. (Students enrolled in programs with a compulsory preparatory class will not take this examination.)
