Within the framework of our university’s primary objective to continuously improve the internal quality assurance systems of its units, establish an effective communication network with the administration in quality management processes, share the experiences and good practices of different units, and integrate external stakeholder feedback to strengthen competencies in quality assurance and internalize and spread the quality culture, a visit was carried out to our School on October 8, 2025, under the chairmanship of our University’s Vice Rector in Charge of Quality, Prof. Dr. Hasan TEZER, and hosted by our School Director, Prof. Dr. Hayriye Gökçen ÇETİNKAYA.

The visit was attended by the Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Gürcü KOÇ, Quality Commission Unit Consultant and Institutional Data Management System (KVYS) Coordinator Prof. Dr. Fatih Emre BORAN, representatives of the Strategy Development Board, our School’s Deputy Director responsible for Quality Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kuddusi KARABODUK, Deputy Director responsible for Strategy Asst. Prof. Dr. Yusuf ŞİMŞEK, academic and administrative members of the quality and strategy team, our School’s quality student representative, and program student representatives.

During the meeting, areas for improvement identified in line with the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) Interim Evaluation Report were discussed, and activities within the scope of the 2025 Quality Improvement Plan were reviewed. In addition, performance indicators within the framework of the 2024–2028 Strategic Plan were addressed, and information was provided regarding the preparation of the internal unit evaluation report and the updating of the improvement section.
With the valuable contributions and guidance of our university, it is aimed to conduct quality processes effectively, sustainably, and transparently.

This visit has strengthened our School’s commitment to institutional excellence and made a significant contribution to the establishment and dissemination of the quality culture throughout our university.
