The project titled “There is Science in My Village: A Scientific Journey from Microalgae to Soil, from Nature to Health,” prepared under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Burcu ERTİT TAŞTAN, faculty member of the Vocational School of Health Services, has been awarded support within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4009 – Support Program for Village Schools. Within the framework of the program, which was opened for applications by TÜBİTAK for the first time, the project was matched with Kabalar Primary School located in Kabalar Village, Kastamonu.
As a reflection of Gazi University’s vision of sharing its scientific knowledge and experience with society while combining scientific production with social benefit, the project aims to increase the scientific awareness of village school students and support their scientific thinking skills through practices based on nature, health, and sustainability.
