Our Vocational School’s 2025–2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and strong participation at the Rectorate Architect Kemaleddin Hall, honored by the presence of our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Necdet Hayta and Prof. Dr. Hasan Tezer, our Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Gökhan Tuna Öztürk, our Deputy Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kavutçu, and the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Yüksek İhtisas University, Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu.

The ceremony began with the opening speech delivered by our Director, Prof. Dr. Zahide Esra Durak. Addressing the students in her speech, Prof. Dr. Zahide Esra Durak stated, “Carrying the name of Gazi is not merely a sense of belonging; it means representing a deeply rooted heritage, a strong stance, and great aspirations.” She encouraged students to believe in themselves, remain open to change, and move forward in their professional lives with determination. Our Director concluded her speech by wishing success to our graduating students in their future lives.

Following this, our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal delivered his remarks and expressed his pleasure in attending the graduation ceremony of the Vocational School of Health Services. In his speech, our Rector emphasized the important responsibilities that graduating students would undertake in various areas of the healthcare system and stated:

“Our students graduating from our vocational school today will serve in hospitals, oral and dental health centers, laboratories, imaging units, emergency healthcare services, and elderly care facilities. As an essential part of healthcare services, they will contribute to public health and undertake highly valuable responsibilities that directly touch human lives.”

Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal thanked the academic staff and the families of the students for their efforts and also included the following remarks in his speech:

“The Gazi University from which you graduate today is not only a well-established institution representing the scientific and educational vision of our Republic, but also an important symbol of our nation’s struggle for independence, determination for development, and scientific freedom. In the 100th year of our University, you will serve our country as the new generation of healthcare professionals who will carry this great legacy into the future. We expect you to be not only successful, but also ethical, sensitive, and socially responsible individuals. I believe that you will make significant contributions to the advancement of healthcare, scientific production, and a human-centered service approach in our country.”

At the end of his speech, our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal congratulated the graduating students and wished them success in their future lives.

Following the speeches, certificates of achievement were presented to the top-ranking graduating students by our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal, protocol members, and our academic staff. The graduation ceremony, held with great enthusiasm and pride, concluded with the excitement of the students tossing their caps and taking commemorative photographs.
