Within the scope of the UNIDES Project supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Youth and Sports, the “Pre-Hospital Case Management and Simulation Workshops in Disasters” program, hosted by Gümüşhane University and organized by the “Health from 7 to 77” Club, was attended by the Gazi University Lifeline Paramedic Community.
During the organization, which brought together teams from different universities across Türkiye, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and team coordination in triage, patient transportation, confined space rescue, and advanced life support (ALS) stages. Throughout the competition, the Gazi University Lifeline Paramedic Community attracted attention with the degrees they achieved through their successful performances.
The community members especially stood out with their achievements in case management, rapid decision-making, correct intervention during crises, and teamwork, presenting a proud picture on behalf of future healthcare professionals.
We would like to thank all students who contributed to this success, especially the academic advisors Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmet Çelebi and Specialist Paramedic Bahar Alkaş.
According to the competition results:
🥇 Gazi Team 2 won first place in the ALS (Resuscitation) category
🥇 Gazi Team 2 won first place in the Triage category
🥇 Gazi Team 1 won first place in the Transportation category
🥈 Gazi Team 1 won second place in the ALS (Resuscitation) category
🥉 Gazi Team 1 achieved third place in the Confined Space category
Students of the Gazi University Lifeline Paramedic Community stated that such organizations are of great importance for professional development and emphasized that they will continue to improve themselves in the field of disaster and emergency healthcare services.
