Advanced ECG Training Held at Our Vocational School

The “Advanced ECG Training” event organized by the Lifeline Paramedic Community operating within Gazi University Vocational School of Health Services was held with high participation. In the program held at the Gazi SHMYO Conference Hall, paramedic students and participants studying in the field of healthcare had the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge on advanced electrocardiography (ECG) applications.

The event was delivered by Paramedic Doğan Mutlu, while the moderation was carried out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmet Çelebi. Within the scope of the training, topics such as rhythm analysis, evaluation of critical ECG findings, rapid decision-making processes in field applications, and the importance of ECG in emergency medical services were addressed.

Gazi University First and Emergency Aid Program Head Prof. Dr. Alper Cenk GÜRKAN and Vocational School Secretary Yasin NİDA also attended the program. The academic and administrative administrators, who added value to the program with their participation, followed the event together with the students.

Throughout the program, in addition to theoretical knowledge, applied evaluations were conducted based on case examples from field experience, aiming to improve students’ clinical perspective. Participants had the opportunity to gain up-to-date insights into cardiac cases frequently encountered in pre-hospital emergency healthcare services.

At the end of the event, Paramedic Doğan Mutlu was thanked for his contributions, and appreciation was also expressed to Gazi University Vocational School of Health Services Director Prof. Dr. Zahide Esra DURAK for her support. Representatives of the Lifeline Paramedic Community stated that educational activities and events contributing to students’ professional development will continue.
