The 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Program, organized under the theme of “Our Will, Our Victory” in cooperation with Gazi University and Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, was held with extensive participation.

The program was attended by Presidential Chief Advisor and 15 July Veteran Mr. Turgut Aslan, Ankara Deputy Prof. Dr. Mr. Mevlüt Karakaya, Gölbaşı District Governor Mr. Erol Rüstemoğlu, Gölbaşı Mayor Mr. Yakup Odabaşı, Head of the Special Operations Department of the General Directorate of Security Mr. Ünsal Hayal, Gölbaşı District Police Chief Mr. Ahmet Emrecan, Mrs. Fadime Alemdar, wife of 15 July Martyr Police Chief Meriç Alemdar, academic and administrative staff of Gazi University and Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, as well as 15 July Veterans Mr. Erol Ay and Mr. İsmet Alper Akdemir.

During the program, Presidential Chief Advisor and 15 July Veteran Turgut Aslan, along with other 15 July Veterans, shared their experiences during the coup attempt and emphasized the importance of the spirit of unity, solidarity, and togetherness demonstrated by the Turkish nation.
