Two separate information meetings were held for first- and second-year students by the Department of Dental Services of Gazi University Health Services Vocational School as part of the 2026–2027 Academic Year, with the aim of supporting students’ adaptation to academic and professional processes.

As part of the Orientation Program for First-Year Students, held on September 21, 2026, newly enrolled students of the School and the Department were welcomed and provided with general information about university and vocational school life, the educational structure of the department, courses, faculty members, and students’ educational processes. Information contributing to students’ adaptation to university life and the department was shared, and students’ questions were also answered.

At the Clinical Practice Meeting for Second-Year Students, held on September 22, 2026, the Clinical Practice course, which constitutes an important stage of students’ professional education, was discussed. During the meeting, students were informed about the course structure, clinical working principles at the Faculty of Dentistry, general clinical processes, and the issues they should pay attention to during their clinical practices. The meeting continued with a question-and-answer session, during which students’ questions and opinions were addressed and clarifications were provided on various issues.

Both meetings were attended by Prof. Dr. Zahide Esra DURAK, Director of the Health Services Vocational School, the Deputy Directors, the Vocational School Secretary, and the faculty members of the Department of Dental Services.

The meetings, organized to support students not only in their academic development but also in preparing for professional practices and continuing their educational processes in a more informed manner, concluded with an exchange of views and question-and-answer sessions.
