Gazi University Student E-Mail and Wi-Fi Activation

An e-mail address with the extension “studentnumber@gazi.edu.tr” is automatically assigned to all students who enroll at Gazi University.

To activate your e-mail account and use the EDUROAM (University Wi-Fi) system, please follow the steps below in order:

  1. OBS Login

    Students who have not created an OBS password before must log in to OBS via e-Government and create a new password from the User Operations > Password Creation menu.

    Students who already have an OBS password do not need to complete this step.

  2. E-Mail Request System

    Log in to the E-Mail Request System using your student number and OBS password.

    From the “Update Password” section, reset your password so that it is the same as your OBS password.

  3. E-Mail Account Login

    Go to G.U. Mail System (Gazi Zimbra) and log in using your e-mail address (studentnumber@gazi.edu.tr) and your OBS password.

  4. EDUROAM (University Wi-Fi)

    After successfully logging in to your e-mail account, you can connect to the university Wi-Fi network by following the EDUROAM connection steps available under the Useful Links section.

Note: The e-mail address is shown in an example format. Please use the address created with your own student number.
