As part of the unit visits conducted by the Gazi University Quality Commission, a meeting was held at our Vocational School of Health Services on October 8, 2026, to evaluate quality assurance and strategic management processes.

Hosted by the Director of our Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Zahide Esra DURAK, the meeting was attended by Vice Rector for Quality Assurance Prof. Dr. Hasan TEZER, Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Gürcü KOÇ, Institutional Data Management Coordinator and Unit Advisory Member Prof. Dr. Fatih Emre BORAN, Head of the Department of Strategy Development Emre ÇAKIR, Deputy Quality Coordinator Lecturer Mustafa KARATAŞ, Strategic Planning Directorate Representative Özge ÖZKARTAL, Vice Director of our Vocational School Assist. Prof. Dr. Fatma KARTAL ERSOY, heads of departments, members of the Unit Quality Team and Unit Strategic Planning Team, and administrative staff.

During the meeting, efforts to ensure the sustainability of the achievements gained through the University's Institutional Accreditation process and to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance practices at the unit level were evaluated. Discussions focused on the Institutional Internal Evaluation Report, the sustainability of institutional accreditation, program accreditation activities, and stakeholder participation in quality assurance processes.

Activities carried out within the scope of the Quality Improvement Plan, along with the strengths and areas for improvement of our Vocational School, were reviewed, emphasizing the importance of integrating a continuous improvement approach into institutional processes. The meeting also highlighted the effective implementation of all stages of the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle and the need to ensure that improvements achieved through quality assurance activities become sustainable.

Information was also provided about the Institutional Data Management System (KVYS), which will be used to electronically submit reports and data related to quality assurance processes. The system's operation, data entry procedures, and the importance of maintaining accurate and up-to-date institutional data were discussed.

The meeting concluded following discussions aimed at promoting a culture of quality throughout our Vocational School, ensuring the sustainability of institutional accreditation achievements, and strengthening continuous improvement activities.
